Thank you for visiting my blog. I wanted to create it so that all the people close to me can check in to see what happening in my treatment, and how I'm doing. This doesn't mean that I don't want to hear from you. Please feel free to call, email, text any time. But I apologize if I don't always get back to you. This new cancer journey of mine is a full time job, and I'm doing the best that I can. Please know that your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me...keep them coming! Thank you for all your help and support too...it takes a community, and you have all given us that.
With love and gratitude,
Lynne

My hair became a matted mass at the back of my head yesterday after my shower. I managed to make the front look good, and we went ahead with the family photo session. But then I went for an in between cut, before it all goes. I really like the cut...a style I had been thinking of doing for a long time. Who knows...maybe I'll cut the wig like this. Let me know what you think!

  2. Oh my goodness I am so not good at this blog business! The cut is perfect! Shapes your face beautifully. I cut mine like that too but find it harder to blow dry....can't quite get the brush under it. You are my first blog following! So what does that make me? A flogger? What do you call someone who follows blogs? Hmmmmmm.... Wanda and I were just talking about technology yesterday as Max texts me or voice notes me "Whaddup". Too funny. Whaddup... hehehehe
Good luck with Chemitz this week. Hey- do you have a chemo-buddy? Calista Flockart on Brothers & Sisters has a Chemo-buddy and I reckon that could be the way to go. If you fancy texting I can be your chemo-buddy! Not sure if you're allowed cel phones tho...
Wish were meeting in Atlanta... how fun would that be? Well I am going to try and post this comment (the first try bombed). Hope the photo shoot went well. Jx

So here it goes...LOVE the hair, your technical savvy with this blog blows me away, and whatever I can do to help and/or just to hang out with you, I am here. My Love, thoughts, prayers are with you and your Family.

  6. Lynne,

I write this for Fred and me as he is so very clueless about any form of social networking site. After reading your blog today, he never noticed he could post a comment. (I signed him up as a follower to help him out) Those math majors. We are so sad that your family is faced with this journey. We are thinking of you and spoken much of you and your family today as we received your email. Thank you for including us in your journey. You will be close in our thoughts and prayers although we so far away.

    Love,
    Fred, Angela, Cade and Cole

  9. It is true, I haven't the foggiest how to use a blog - Like Jenn, this is my first time.

I stand accused of being unable to post a comment (Thanks Angela!). While guilty of the charge, I would like to address the jury. How many mechanics have old rusted cars? How many dentists have cavities? Well, I am the computer guy that hates computers! My laptop is 10 years old. It has a 6 Gig harddrive. Yes, harddrive, not memory! It has a floppy disk drive. Come on, that is funny! My only pride and joy is that I can keep it working despite the endless procession of technological advances. Did I mention that the hinges are broken and I have to lean it up against a wall, or big book, in order to view the screen?

One thing is certain: I am more of numbers guy than a word guy. But my world was rocked by the power in Lynne's words - "My heart breaks for my Children".

Lynne - our thoughts are constantly with you, Mark, Zackary and Zoe!

    Fred.

  10. OMG the cut looks fabulous! You should definitely cut the wig this way. But you know, no matter how the hair is .. or isn't .. you are a beautiful person inside and out!

Lynne, I know this is an extremely difficult time for you and your family. I also know that you are a strong person and are going to kick some serious cancer butt! Afterall, we Taurus' are fighters!!!

I'm thinking of you Lynne.. sending you strength, big hugs and warm wishes! My prayers are also for Mark, Zachary & Zoe!! I wish you all the strength and courage to keep taking the next step forward...

    Love you!
    Wanda Xx

  12. Hi Lynne

    We love the cut too.

Whether you have short, long or no hair you will still be gorgeous because it is your smile, eyes and charisma that light up the room.

You are a remarkable woman and your attitude is an inspiration.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love Kathy, Kerry, Hannah and Colin

PS sorry for the mess with Hannah & Colin's post; and then I made it worse by trying to remove it.
